London’s Top Five Exhibition Venues

London

London is the UK hub for exhibitions, events, conferences and forums. It’s one of the global financial capitals and the heart of the UK’s business landscape. Besides, it’s also one of the most beautiful cities in the world with plenty of green space and iconic attractions.

People travel from all over the world to attend events in the capital. They can get a taste of London culture and Britain’s history before attending their event. Win, win!

Here are some of the best exhibition venues in London.

ExCeL London

ExCeL London is an award-winning venue with a whopping 100,000 square metres of event space. It’s also home to London’s International Convention Centre and, of course, the UK’s largest auditorium. It’s super easy to get to, and City Airport is just five minutes away.

You could stay in a serviced apartment in Canary Wharf to stay close by to the venue. Spend your day learning at the event or managing the proceedings before heading back to your apartment for a night of relaxation. You can settle in for the night, cook in the mini kitchen and make yourself at home. Serviced apartments are a great alternative to hotels.

Olympia London

Olympia London is perfect for arts, fashion and entertainment events. It’s an exhibition centre and events space based in West Kensington. The space is ideal for crowds of around 5,000 to 8,000 attendees. You could hold your very own arts event or attend one of the many exhibitions throughout the year.

QEII Centre

Head to the QEII Centre for the largest dedicated conference and exhibition space in the whole of Central London. It’s opposite Westminster Abbey – just a two-minute walk from a royal park. Your visitors can stay central and enjoy the sites while still getting the experience of a large-scale event. The QEII can hold up to 2,500 people and hosts a whopping 400 events per year.

Business Design Centre

London’s Business Design Centre is very popular with the conference circuit. It can hold small meetings or huge exhibitions, depending on your preference. In the London Borough of Islington, this Grade II listed building would make a stunning place to host any event.

Alexandra Palace

Alexandra Palace is one of the most picturesque venues in London. The Palace sits on 196 acres of parkland with beautiful views across the city. You can attend anything from art exhibitions to live concerts in the Victorian building. The venue hosts sports fixtures, trade shows and music events – but maybe it could hold your event too?

If you’re planning an event in London this year, or even just looking for one to attend, look out for these fantastic venues. Try to stay close by to your event so you can get a feel for the local area.

London is an enormous city with countless attractions and hidden spots. Your scheduled event shouldn’t be the only thing on your London itinerary. There’s an entire city to see as well.
