How To Find Your Dream Business?

cloud computing

It is not easy to find a business that brings both real pleasure and profit. Not many people manage to turn their hobby into a business, but it is important for your motivation. Share our experiences and useful tips.

A person who is in search of the business of his dreams does not know the answers to many questions but knows exactly that his own business should be, firstly, favorite, secondly, successful and, thirdly, profitable. And you also need to know what to do with it, if it already brings income. For that, check out this blog post.

So, let’s look at what you need to do to create the business of your dreams, which will meet all three criteria.

1) To make the business a favorite, analyze your recreation

Think about what you do 90% of the time when you are free from work, family, and life. And look at it as a whole, considering both active and passive recreation.

For each person, rest is an individual set of things that brings physical and emotional pleasure, as well as relieves stress and fatigue after a day of work. For one person, relaxation is doing sports, for another – watching movies and TV shows, for a third – online shopping. The list goes on for a long time. For most people, such a reset from everyday life and work boils down to a few regularly recurring activities.

It is important to analyze the activities that you enjoy doing. Something that pleases you and improves your mood. An activity that you look forward to and dream about as vacation time.

We don’t think of vacation time as vacations by the sea or traveling to other countries several times a year. We focus specifically on daily activities.

Ask yourself questions:

  1. How do I rest?
  2. What do I like to do in my free time?
  3. What would I enjoy doing if I had more free time?

Similarly, make a list of your favorite activities. It should not be too big, 5-10 items are enough.

2) For your business to be successful, solve your intangible problem

Analyze what worldly problems you are facing today. They must be intangible, that is, the option “I do not have a car, but if I did, it would be easier to live” is not suitable.

By “worldly” I mean the problems that may be faced by a very large number of people similar to you in social status, age, and tastes. By solving this problem for yourself, you can also solve it for a lot of other people.

First of all, see if there is such a problem in the area of your favorite activities identified in point 1). A great many world-renowned masters of their craft came to their professional activity in a similar way, solving their problems.

Most psychologists do not even hide the fact that they began practicing psychology to sort out their problems: family, emotional, or simply in the process of searching for themselves. As a result of deep-diving into the essence of one’s problem and finding a way to solve it, one becomes an expert in this field and can share experience and knowledge with others.

Many personal brands that now have millions of subscribers in social networks and make good money from them were built on the same principle.

Most of the fitness trainers who inspire people to play sports and eat right have once been overweight and over healthy themselves. Many make it their thing, showing before and after results. Consequently, the problem in the area of your favorite activity can be solved not only by creating a product but also by providing a service.

3) To make a business profitable, look at your business as a consumer

After identifying your favorite business and a particular problem, dream about what your ideal business in that area would look like.

Picture it as accurately as possible, looking at every little detail in your imagination. For example, what kind of office you would like to have (color and location of the building, the size of the windows, color, and texture of the walls, furniture, interior style, etc.). As a result, you should have a complete picture.

The next step in creating a profitable business is to look at your business from the backside. What would you like it to be like if you were a customer? What attracts you to already existing similar projects and what motivates you to make a purchase or use a service. Abstract away from the financial side. Imagine that a major investor is doing a project in the area in which you want to start your own business. Do not limit yourself with any boundaries. Dream boldly!
