Internationally famous for Sherwood Forest, home of the Robin Hood legend, the principle of serving and protecting the communities remains just as true as it did back then.

The force has a dedicated workforce of just under 3,200 officers and staff, who are supported by a growing army of hundreds of Special Constables, cadets and volunteers.

Located in the heart of England, the county is renowned for its sporting roots, including Trent Bridge Cricket ground, the Capital FM National Ice Arena, Meadow Lane, home to the world’s oldest football club Notts County, and the City Ground, home to former double European Cup winners Nottingham Forest.

They work closely with all of these attractions to ensure the thousands of tourists who visit Nottinghamshire each year have a safe and enjoyable visit.

Nottinghamshire Police run a large number of projects and selected PM3 as its portfolio and project management solution. PM3 will support the standardisation of how projects are managed across the portfolio, improve project and programme delivery and assist the PMOs in managing the overall portfolio.

Chief Inspector Chris Sutcliffe – Business Change Lead said: “We ran a formal tender process and selected PM3 due to its fit to our requirements, ease of use and powerful reporting capability. It will really help us transform the way in which we deliver projects”.

David Walton, Director at BestOutcome said: “I am delighted that Nottinghamshire Police have chosen PM3 and BestOutcome to help deliver their portfolio of projects and programmes. We have a lot of experience in implementing PM3 in the public sector and will be using this experience to help ensure our PM3 implementation at Nottinghamshire police is successful.
